Style and Format

Articles can be written in the first or third person and should be between 800 and 1500 words.

Privacy

For safety reasons, please do not include names or any other personally identifiable information of abuse victims, unless the victim is a public figure or their details are already in the news and public domain.

Shadows of Control may edit submissions as necessary for clarity, conciseness, grammar, spelling, style, and length. We always keep the writer's original concept, context, intent or idea intact when editing.
